“I am all in,” Biden declared, emphasizing his commitment to his reelection campaign. He countered Trump’s claims, stating, “Let me say it again because Trump is lying like hell about it—Black unemployment hit a record low under the Biden-Harris administration.” Biden also condemned Trump for his previous assertions that former President Barack Obama was not an American citizen and for derogatory references to “Black jobs” during their recent debate.

The assassination attempt on Trump prompted a strategic shift in the Biden campaign.
